Bhopal plans for evacuation after plant reopens briefly

More than 100,000 people have fled from Bhopal following a decision to reopen the Union Carbide plant where a gas leak killed 2,500 people. The Union Carbide factory announced Wednesday it would reopen on Sunday to turn 15 tons of methyl isocyanate gas into pesticides in a process that would take up to five days.
