TV'S IMAGE OF ZORA HURSTON
Zora Neale Hurston is also the subject of ``Zora Is My Name!'' a richly conceived ``American Playhouse'' production airing on PBS tomorrow from 9 to 10:30 p.m. (check local listings), as part of the network's observance of Black History Month. Based on her own play, the script is by Ruby Dee, who brings her potent emotional resources to the title role of the adult Hurston, conducting viewers through the folklorist's life and works in an evocative format that combines stories, music, and anecdotes. The program dramatizes excerpts from such Hurston material as ``Dust Tracks on the Road'' and ``Of Mules and Men,'' with a strong cast that includes - among many others - Louis Gossett, Jr., Flip Wilson, and Oscar Brown, Jr.
