Isabelle de Pommereau

Isabelle de Pommereau is the Frankfurt correspondent of the Christian Science Monitor.

Originally from France, she's reported out of New York City, Miami, Paris, and Frankfurt, where she now lives. She's covered anything from politics to finance, education to the arts and sports, with stories ranging from street gangs to doping in sports, the fight against Neo-Nazism to Germany's energy revolution.

In addition to the issues of the day in Germany, her interest recently has moved to include Eastern Europe and the Baltic states. What she likes to do best is use her feet and her ears to find stories off the beaten path. A Fulbright scholar, she holds a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
