Sen. Lindsey Graham (R) of South Carolina
Articulate and folksy, Graham criticized Obama for taking too long to step into the Libyan crisis. “One test in foreign policy – at least be as bold as the French,” he said in a statement on March 16. “Unfortunately, when it comes to Libya we’re failing that test."
After the allied air attacks, Graham called for isolating Qaddafi and removing him. “This is the best chance to get rid of Qaddafi in my life,” he said on Fox News Sunday. “If we don’t get rid of him, we will pay a heavy price down the road.”
