Iran frees Bauer and Fattal on a $500,000 bail each, following an announcement of their impending release from the judiciary. The two were handed over to Omani authorities, who, along with Swiss authorities, have acted as a go-between for the US and Iran. The release comes the day before Ahmadinejad is scheduled to speak before the General Assembly.
